Based on winning amounts, PCSO lottery prizes are divided into different categories. For winners, small prizes under P10,000 are the most convenient. Processing methods for mid-tier prizes, which range from P10,000 to P300,000. There are extra verification requirements and tax obligations for major jackpot prizes over P300,000.
The TRAIN Law provides a 20% tax deduction for jackpot winners. This holds true for any sizable winnings over the cutoff point.
Where to Claim Different Prize Tiers
Locations for prize collection differ greatly based on the winning sum. Smaller wins can be easily collected because prizes under P10,000 can be processed at the closest PCSO Branch.
Prizes that fall within the P300,000 range can be processed digitally using the e-lotto app. The claiming process is significantly accelerated by this contemporary method.
Claiming a major jackpot prize of P300,000.01 or more requires going to the PCSO Main Office. In order to receive the largest jackpot prizes, one must visit the PCSO headquarters, which is situated at 605 Conservatory Building, Shaw Blvd., Corner Princeton St., Mandaluyong City.
Required Documents for Claims
All prize tiers have the same documentation requirements. Upon verification, winners are required to promptly write their name and sign the back of the winning ticket. During the claim process, identity verification requires two valid IDs.
Every lottery prize ticket is valid for a year after the draw date. Unclaimed prizes are automatically forfeited after this period of time has passed. In order to prevent their winnings from expiring, winners should place a high priority on promptly claiming their winnings.
